The first-ever Men, Mates & Mentors Showcase and Main Event brought together over 100 men at each event. Strangers became mates, stories were shared, tears were shed, and laughter echoed in rooms filled with courage.
From the raw honesty of the panels to the deep reflection in workshops, something powerful was stirred. And while the events may be over, this is not where the conversation ends.
If you felt something stir, or you missed the event but want to connect, these five organisations are holding the door open for you:
Complete Men – Weekly groups at Robina (Wed nights) and Coomera (Thurs nights)
Men’s Wellbeing – Oxenford open men’s groups (1st & 3rd Monday each month)
ManKind Project Queensland – Open men's group in Nerang (Tues nights), New Warrior Training (three times yearly), and various weekly groups around Brisbane
Dads in Distress – Peer support for separated dads, weekly group at Palm Beach (Tues nights)
The Men’s Table – Monthly tables in Coomera, Surfers Paradise, and Currumbin
The response to this movement has been loud and clear: Men want connection. Men are ready.
Now we’re asking: how do we keep this momentum growing?
We’re actively exploring what comes next — and we’d love you to stay in the loop.
These events are brought to you by a dedicated consortium of nonprofit organisations, including:

Each organisation is committed to providing meaningful support, ensuring every man feels equipped and encouraged.
